PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

General Information

Q Fabs Ltd will supply a quotation on any steel fabricated design, when our quotation has been accepted by you the customer, set out below is the procedure that will follow and the clauses attached to our terms.

Order confirmation

Upon acceptance of our quotation (verbal instruction - email confirmation or a raised purchase order.  From the time of acceptance, the full cost of our quotation is expected to be paid.

Cancellation of order

Should circumstances change and the need to cancel the order, or revising the order, payment of our quotation is still to be paid in full plus VAT subject to our terms offered.  Withholding payment to “renegotiate” after dispatch of goods is in breach of our terms, and full payment of our quotation must be paid, any costs incurred by Q Fabs Ltd to recover these costs will be charged back to you as the customer.  As our products are “bespoke” the 14-day cooling off period is not applicable.

Payment terms

Our payment terms will be stated on our quotation.  if Q Fabs ltd do offer payment terms, these terms can be withdrawn at any time without notification.

Design/drawings -Changes in production techniques and deviation in measurement apply
When Q Fabs Ltd have designed a product and then approved by you the customer, then the design/drawing status is updated to “manufacture”.  After this period any changes to the design will be chargeable at a rate of £35 per hour plus VAT (minimum charges apply - £100 plus VAT).  In addition to this, any additional increased manufacturing costs will need to be re-quoted.  When a design has been manufactured if the finished “aesthetic view” is not acceptable, withholding payment is no basis for complaint or redesign.  We will have advised you based on our knowledge and experience of design type and expected finish.
